Which running app to use?

I could not be more happy about changing the clocks yesterday! While I love to run, and will do it on the treadmill, I definitely prefer to run outside (like most of you I'm sure)! While student teaching it has been difficult to be able to run outside because its pitch black out when I get up, and dark again by the time I get home! It makes me soooo happy that when I get home today at 5 I get outside and go for that run!

Now that I will be running outside more, I am trying to find out which running app is the best to use. I just got the Galaxy S3 and I have installed a few different running apps on my phone. On my old phone I have always used MapMyRun, and I loved it! However, I want to see if that is the best app to use because I have not really used any other one. I downloaded Runtastic, but I am also going to see if there are any others. I thought about the Nike Running App but I don't run in Nike shoes so I'm not sure if I want the app, or if it will be as effective. Over the next few weeks I plan on trying out various apps and I will share different information I have found on the apps. This afternoon I think I am going to give the app Runtastic a try...so we'll see!

Oh and side note....tomorrow I find out if I got into the Chicago Marathon! Eeek! It'll be my first marathon, but if I don't I am leaning towards the Prairie State Marathon the same weekend!

Hi everyone!

I am so excited to launch this blog! I love reading blogs by others and I cannot be more excited to start my own! I love running, sports, soccer, teaching, coaching soccer, shopping, and traveling (just to name a few ;) ). I plan on blogging about all of this and and everything in-between. I love fitness and hope to share things I find as well as learn from my readers as well :). I am a Sweat Pink Ambassador which is so exciting and my sisters have been a huge motivator for me to start this blog!
